Not for our first session! We’ll start by talking about your goals and budget so we can find a guitar that actually fits your style before you spend any money. If you already have one, bring it along: any guitar is a great starting point to get those first notes ringing.

Not at all. In fact, many of my favorite students are adults who are picking up the guitar for the first time. Adults bring a unique advantage: focus and a clear sense of "why" you want to play. We skip the fluff and get straight to the music that moves you—no matter how long it’s been since your last lesson (or if it's never happened at all).

My goal is to get you playing a song as soon as possible, usually within the first two lessons! By the end of your first month, you’ll have a handful of songs you can actually perform. We focus on "small wins" that build confidence; even 10 minutes of daily play makes a massive difference in how your hands feel on the strings.

I know life is busy! Between school runs, work shifts, and everything in between. I offer morning, evening, and weekend slots to make sure lessons fit into your schedule rather than the other way around. Since my availability shifts weekly, the best way to secure a spot is to book an intro lesson where we can map out a plan that works for you.

Both are highly effective, so you can choose what fits your lifestyle best! In-person sessions allow me to provide direct feedback on hand positioning, which is incredibly helpful for building "muscle memory" early on. Online lessons offer great flexibility and convenience for busy schedules. Many students find a hybrid of both works perfectly.

Life happens, and I completely understand that plans change. As long as you give me at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel, there’s no charge. For last-minute changes (less than 24 hours), a half-rate fee applies. My goal is to stay as flexible as possible while keeping our momentum going!
